Gene O. Gregory, age 79, of Unity, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017
at home.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at
Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity. The Pastor Nancy Amacher will officiate.
Family and friends are welcome from 9:30 AM until time of service Saturday at
the church. Military honors will be provided by the Unity American Legion Post
#358.
Gene was born on September 4, 1938 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Douglas and
Lydia (Klemp) Gregory. On December 13, 1958, he was united in married to
Marjorie Murnane, together they had three daughters. She preceded him in death
on August 17, 1995. Later, he was united in marriage to Merry Miller on October
12, 1996.
Gene was a veteran, and a member of the Unity American Legion. He enjoyed
working on cars, boating, and loved spending time with his family. Gene was an
avid Packer and Badger fan, but most importantly was known for his sense of
humor and his story telling.
Gene is survived by his wife: Merry; three daughters: Christina (Hugh Janz)
Gregory of Sturgeon Lake, MN, Angela (Jim) Ericson of Lonsdale, MN, and
Elizabeth (Bill) Johnson of River Fall, WI; three grandchildren: Alexander,
James, and Joshua and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife: Marjorie; sister: Janet
Gregory; and brother: Ken Gregory.
