Nelson, David Lee (30 April 1990 – 31 August 2017)

David Lee Nelson, 27, of Humbird passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, in Hixton. David was born April 30, 1990, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, the son of David Osley and Victoria nelson. As a child, he was baptized into the Lutheran faith. David attended school in Neillsville, and lived most of his life in the Neillsville and Humbird area. He had been employed at Crust Unlimited in Osseo. David enjoyed playing computer games, listening to rap music, and especially spending time with his son and daughter.

David is survived by his children, Luhkis and Zay Nelson and their mother Samantha Boos, of Green Bay; Mother Vicki Nelson (James Loftus) of Humbird; father David (Layla) Osley of Eau Claire, Robert Tennant (Rita Hoyt) of Eau Claire; grandparents, Carol Bradshaw of Humbird, Anton (Elizabeth) Nelson of Humbird; half-siblings, Cole of Eau Claire; step-siblings, Robert Tennant Jr. of Merrillan, Kristen Tennant of Michigan; and Uncle Chris (Rowena) Nelson of Black River Falls.

David was preceded in death by his grandmother Dora Coil.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Dale Hazard officiating. Burial will be in the Fairchild Cemetery.
