Krause, Louise C. (16 SEP 1932 – 9 DEC 2017)
Louise C. Krause, age 85, of Abbotsford, passed away on Saturday, December 9,
2017 at her residence.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at
St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Curtiss. Rev. Ken Schmidt will officiate.
Interment to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, Town of Mayville. Family and friends
are welcome from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the church. The
Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is entrusted with the arrangements.
Louise was born on September 16, 1932 in Taylor County, the daughter of Walter
and Ruby (Piper) Delis. She attended Midway School and Owen High School. Louise
worked in Chicago and then Marshfield and this is where she met Calvin Krause,
Sr. On November 7, 1953, Louise was united in marriage to Calvin Krause, Sr. at
First Evangelical and Reformed Church in Colby. Together they farmed in rural
Curtiss. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1995. After retiring, she moved to
Abbotsford.
Louise enjoyed gardening, reading, going for rides and visiting neighbors. She
loved to babysit her great-grandchildren. Most importantly, Louise cherished her
family especially the holidays and family gatherings.
Louise is survived by seven children: Calvin Krause (Lesley) of Daytona Beach,
FL, Darryl Krause of Dorchester, Elaine Krause of Curtiss, Bryan (Ann) Krause of
Medford, Coleen Krause of Abbotsford, Brad Krause of Abbotsford and Les Krause
of Abbotsford; four grandchildren: Eric, Aaron, Adam and Jason Olson; seven
great-grandchildren: Lynxa, Alyra, Bryna, Kaylee, Reid, Vanessa and Olivia. She
is further survived by four brothers and two sisters: Eleanor Powalish of
Palatine, IL, Yvonne Boushon of Marshfield, Donald Delis of Milwaukee, Walter
Delis of Stratford, Art Delis of Banning, CA, Richard Delis of Loyal; a
sister-in-law, Marjorie Krause of Dorchester; nieces, nephews, other relatives
and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Calvin; her daughter,
Linda; three brothers: Robert, Carl and Daniel in infancy.
