Duane "Pat" Schmidt, 43, Rt. 1, Box 231B, Pittsville, was electrocuted at 12:45
p.m. Thursday, May 3, 1973, when he fell into electric power lines while setting
up a prefabricated home at a site three miles northeast of Rhinelander.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at St. Anthony's Catholic
Church, with burial in St. Anthony's Cemetery (Loyal, Clark Co., Wis.).
Celebrant for the mass was Rev. Jerome Hoeser, Wausau, and co-celebrants were
Rev. Norbert . King, Loyal, and the Rev. Thomas Abraham, Wausau.

p.m. Friday.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael and Thomas, both at
home; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Schmidt, Marshfield.
He was preceded in death by one son.
