Weis, Beverly Sue (28 APR 1973)
Miss Beverly Sue Weis, County Club Road, Schofield, and John Joseph Bohte,
Wausau, were united in marriage at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 1973. They are
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Weis, Rt. 1, Unity, and son of Mr. and Mrs.
Edward Bohte Sr., Rt. 1, Rib Lake, Wisconsin.
Father Frank Rushman of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby, officiated at the
service, which took place at St. Mary's Catholic Church (Colby, Clark Co.,
Wis.). The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The Children's Choir from St. Mary's sang for the service.
As the bride entered the church she was wearing a floor length gown of organza
with matching Venice lace train veil. Her bouquet consisted of tiny pink roses,
white and pink carnations and scattered white daisies.
Mrs. Mike Jelinek, Wausau, as matron of honor, and Miss Cynthia Weis, Unity,
Mrss. Edward Bohte Jr., Wausau, and Miss Shirley Palmer, Wausau, as bridesmaids,
wore gowns of pink chiffon with A-line skirts, and carried wicker baskets of
white, pink and white carnations.
Mr. Keith Weiler, Rt. 2, Marathon, was best man, and Mr. Dwight Wegerer,
Waterford, Wis., Mr. Edward Bohte Jr., Wausau, and Mr. Ted Thums, Rib Lake, were
groomsmen.
Performing ushering duties were Mr. Mike Jelinek and Mr. Tom Beyerl, both of Eau
Claire.
A reception, dinner and dance were held at the Village Plaza, Spencer.
The bride, a 1969 graduate of Colby High School, and a 1971 graduate of NCTI,
with an Associate degree in nursing, is a registered nurse at Wausau Hospital
North.
Her husband, a 1969 graduate of Rib Lake, and a 1971 graduate of NCTI, with an
Associate Degree in Agriculture Mechanics, is manager-owner of John's Mobile
Home Supply Co.
A wedding trip will be taken to Denver, Colorado, after which they will be at
home at Rt. 3, Mosinee, Crestline Court, Lot #40.
