Creaser, Lewis J. (16 SEP 1920 - 17 JUN 1978*)
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Zion Lutheran Church, Gilman, for
Lewis J. Creaser, 57-year-old town of Pershing farmer who died Saturday at
Memorial hospital, Medford.
Rev. Perry Schefelker officiated at services and burial took place in Donald
Cemetery. Gilman funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
Lewis John Creaser was born September 16, 1920 in Dunn county and moved to the
Donald area with his parents as a child. He attended Donald school.
A veteran of World War II, Mr. Creaser served in the army from 1943 until 1946.
His marriage to Marlene Shea took place November 13, 1948 at Hannibal when the
couple began farming.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Creaser is survived by two daughters, Sandra, Mrs.
William Chaplinski, Birchwood, and Wanda, Milwaukee; two grandchildren; two
brothers, Charles of Cadott and Russell of Billings, Mont., and four sisters,
Lucille, Mrs. Earl Englebretson, and Catherine, Mrs. Willis Couillard, both of
Gilman, Doris, Mrs. Joe Hammen of Sheldon and Mrs. Jerene Lucas of Kenosha.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
