Englebretson, Lucille Irene (Creaser) (5 DEC 1911 - 5 MAY 1982)

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at Zion Lutheran Church, Gilman, for Mrs. Lucille Irene Englebretson, 71-year-old rural Gilman resident who died Wednesday, May 5, 1982, at Memorial Hospital, Medford, following a lingering illness.

Rev. Robert W. Olson officiated and burial took place in Donald Cemetery. Family members served as pallbearers.

The body lay in state at the Gilman Funeral Home.

The former Lucille Creaser was born December 5, 1911, at Downsville and in 1923 moved with her parents to the Donald area where she received her education. Her marriage to Earl Englebretson, who survives, took place December 7, 1932, at Richland, Texas.

Mrs. Englebretson returned to the Donald area in 1936, residing their most of her life. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ronald E., Salinas, Calif., and Rocky Allen, West Allis; two daughters, Mrs. Connie Clark, Thorp, and Mrs. Bernard VanDenHuevel, Gilman, 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Other survivors include two brothers, Charles, Eau Claire, and Russell, Billing, Mont., and three sisters, Doris, Mrs. Joe Hammen, Sheldon, Mrs. Jerene Lucas, Milwaukee, and Catherine, Mrs. Willis Couillard, Gilman.

She was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
