At the Clark County American Legion meeting held May 9, 1973 at Owen Post 123, Mr. Wally Szymanski of Loyal Post 175 was installed as Clark County American Legion Commander. Mr. Harold Laube of the Owen Post was installed as Vice Commander.

Mrs. Wilfred Heindl of the Dorchester Post, past County Commander, performed the installing ceremonies.

Al Miller of the Loyal Post is the new County Adjutant and Mr. Walt Hoffman, also of the Loyal Post, is Finance Officer.

County Commander Szymanski stated in his installing address that Legion members must start taking a more active part in the Legion and in the Legion programs. Commander Szymanski also said that he would like to have a meeting with all new Post commanders to ' get the ball rolling."
