Koepke, Herbert W. (27 JUL 1897 – 16 MAY 1973)

Herbert W. Koepke, 75, Rt. 2, Spencer, died May 16, 1973, at St. Joseph Hospital at 1:45 a.m.

Funeral services were held at the Rux Funeral Home on Friday, may, 18, 1983 at 11:00 a.m.. The Rev. Bervie Scott officiated, and burial was made in the West Spencer Cemetery.

The Rux Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Herbert W. Koepke was born July 27, 1897 at Watertown, Wisconsin.

He was married to Edith Stoneburg on November 15, 1919 in Spencer, and spent his entire married life in the Spencer area.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John (Eleanor) Kramp, Marshfield, and Mrs. Arthur (Doris) Gaffney, Marshfield; one son, Lyle Koepke, Rt. 2, Spencer; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Mr. Ralph Koepke, Chicago, and one sister, Mrs. Lyman (Viola) Leiding, Chicago.

Pallbearers were Sig Krasselt, James Krasselt, Harold Beels, Kenneth Beels, Delmar Sternitzky, and Orville Klimmer.

Mrs. Darrell Roder was the organist.
