Mary Ann Wojcik, Spencer, became the bride of Roger Griepentrog, Unity, on May
5, 1973 at 1 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, Spencer.
Father Bofenkamp performed the 1 p.m. ceremony.
Parents are Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wojcik, Spencer, and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene
Griepentrog, Unity.
The bride was attired in a traditional gown of organza and Chantilly lace with
chapel sweep train, and seen with a tiered lace veil and headpiece. She carried
yellow roses and lilies of the valley.
Her maid of honor, Miss Geraldine Wojcik, wore a blue floral voile print gown
with matching veil. She carried white carnations and roses.
Other attendants, Miss Theresa Wojcik, Marshfield, Mrs. Sharon Griepentrog,
Spencer, Miss Rosie Swanson, Marshfield, and Miss Jane Griepentrog, Spencer,
wore mint green ensembles similar to the maid of honor.
Attendants for Mr. Griepentrog were Leon Dommer as best man. Groomsmen were Leo
Wojcik, Spencer, Alan Griepentrog, Spencer; Ken Schilling, Colby, and Jerry
Schilling, Colby.
Ushers were Dennis Wojcik, Spencer and Jim Griepentrog, Spencer.
The ceremony was followed by a reception, dinner and dance at Unity.
Mrs. Griepentrog was a 1970 Spencer graduate, and is now employed as a nursing
assistant at Colonial Home, Colby.
Mr. Griepentrog graduated from Colby High School in 1968, NCTI in Wausau in
1970, and is now employed by Lond-O-Lakes, Spencer.
The couple is at home at R.R. 1, Spencer.
