Peggy Jean Hium and Wayne Donald Turnquist were united in marriage at 3 p.m.
Saturday, May 26, 1873 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood, with Rev.
David Wagner performing the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hium, R.R. 3, Greenwood (Clark
Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. Art Turnquist, R.R. 3, Greenwood.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
David Schroeder and Carol (? – unreadable) were the singers, with Mrs. Nirva as
the organist.
(? – unreadable) McCarthy , Pardeeville, was the maid of honor, and Miss Darla
Hium, Mrs. JoAnn Hoffman, Miss Denise Worden, and Miss Holly Krueger were
bridesmaids.
Steve Verkuilen, Green Bay, was the best man, and groomsmen were Herb Turnquist,
Gene Turnquist, Chuck Lindner, and Russ Hartsough.
Performing ushering duties were Terry Nirva and Ron Turnquist.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, and a dinner at the
church parlor.
Mr. and Mrs. Turnquist will make their home at 724 Niagara St., Eau Claire,
Wisconsin.
