Orgorzalek, Debra J. (28 FEB 1961 – 18 DEC 2017)

Debra L. Ogorzalek, age 56, of Lublin, passed away at her home on Monday, December 18, 2017. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 23,2017, at Thorp Funeral Home. Rev. Tom Myhre officiated and burial followed in East Thorp Cemetery. Pallbearers were Larry Chwala, Duane Nagel, Alan Nagel, Keith Yeager, Palmer Anderson and Stephen Mravik. Visitation was held at the funeral home, on Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.

Debra Lynn Nagel was born on February 28, 1961, at Victory Memorial Hospital, in Stanley, WI, to Ronald C. and Bertha R. (Luedtke) Nagel. She was raised in the Stanley area and received her education in the Stanley-Boyd School District. Debra was united in marriage to Joseph F. Ogorzalek on November 26, 1977, at St. Mary's Polish National Church in Lublin. She was a stay at home mom, raising her children until earning her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate. Debra worked at Miller Alternative Care, in Thorp, until retiring due to poor health.

She enjoyed gardening and cooking, but especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her children: Lori (Palmer) Anderson of Withee, Craig Ogorzalek of Lublin, Lacey Delasky of Lublin, Angie Ogorzalek of Owen, Ryan Ogorzalek of Lublin; eight grandchildren; three brothers: Ronald (Caleana) Nagel of West Virginia, Duane (Roxanne) Nagel of Stanley, Larry Chwala of Stanley; one sister, Kim (Mark) Dargis of Minnesota; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents; her - husband, Joseph, on December 24, 2011; one son, Jonathon, in infancy; and one grandson, Jaxon Ogorzalek.
