Harold W. Pfohl, son of the late Reverend John C. Pfohl and Mrs. Pfohl, was
among the graduates at the Dartmouth College commencement, Hanover, New
Hampshire, on Sunday, June 10, 1973. He received a degree of Master of Business
Administration.
Mr. Pfohl was graduated from Loyal (Clark Co., Wis. High School in 1960, and
received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of
Wisconsin in January of 1965. He had been employed in San Francisco as a
chemical engineer by Standard Oil, prior to returning to college.
He has accepted a position with W.R. Grace in Philadelphia, where he will be
involved in financing a housing development.
Attending the graduation exercises were Mr. Pfohl's mother, Mrs. Cordelia Pfohl,
Cedarburg, Wisconsin; his sister and her family, Mr. and Mrs. James Unmacht and
children, Dubuque, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. John Butterbrodt, Cadott; and Mrs.
Marvelene Butterbrodt, Loyal.
This was the 204th commencement at Dartmouth, and it marked an historic
occasion, for it was the first coed event.
