Owens, Linda Carol (8 JUN 1973)
Married Friday night, June 8, 1973, at 8 o'clock by the Rev. William Humlie in
Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, were Linda Carol Owens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Pierce Owens Jr., and Danny Lee Kollmansberger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Kollmansberger, all of route 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.).
Mrs. Richard Korn was organist and Miss Bonnie Wehrman, the soloist.
Carrying an arrangement of red roses and white carnations, the bride entered the
church wearing a white A-line lace over taffeta gown in full length, and a
floral headpiece to hold her fingertip veil.
Preceding her to the alter were her aides, Miss Rose Marie Boxrucker, Owen, who
was in the role of maid of honor, and Miss Virginia Owens, Loyal, her
bridesmaid.
The former wore a blue chiffon over taffeta full length formal and white picture
hat, and the latter was similarly attired in a yellow and white ensemble. Each
had a floral arrangement.
Ed Kollmansberger, Loyal, was best man, and Jeff Kollmansberger, Loyal, the
groomsman, and ushering were Mark Owens, Loyal, and Gary Gardner of Greenwood.
The wedding reception and dinner were held at the Owen Legion Hall. The couple
will live on route 1, Loyal.
Both young people graduated this year from Loyal High School, and the bridegroom
is a farmer.
