Walter, Frances (3 JAN 1897 – 28 JUN 1973)
Mrs. George Walter, 76, R. 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 1:55 a.m. June
28, 1973, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Funeral services for Mrs. Walter were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30, at St.
Anthony's Catholic Church, with burial in St. Anthony's Cemetery. The Rev.
Norbert King officiated.
The Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
A general rosary was held at 8:30 on Friday, with a PCCW rosary at 3:30.
The former Frances Schecklman was born on January 3, 1897 in the Town of York
(Clark Co.), and received her education in Town of York schools. She was married
on June 13, 1916, to George Walter, who preceded her in death. They farmed
northwest of Loyal since 1916.
Pallbearers were Joseph Walter, Tony Walter Jr., Franklin Walter Jr., Eugene
Walter, George Schecklman, and Tony Schecklman.
Mrs. Walter is survived by two sons, Albert, Loyal, and Roman, Loyal; two
daughters, Mrs. Carl (Isabel) Vollmert, Wisconsin Rapids, and Mrs. Benedict
(Florence) Stublaski, Wisconsin Rapids; one sister, Mrs. Albert (Tillie) Rushlow,
Beaver Dam; and three brothers, Albert Schecklman, Marshfield, Phillip
Schecklman, Loyal, and Leo Schecklman, Neillsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister, and one grandson.
