Hill, Inez B. (Peterson-Swanson) (22 APR 1919 - 14 DEC 2017)
Inez B. Hill, 98, Rib Lake, died on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at the Rib Lake
Health Care Center, Rib Lake.
She was born on April 22, 1919, on the family homestead in Ogema the daughter of
Swen August and Anna Walborg (Hoffner) Peterson-Swanson.
She attended the Sunnyside School in Ogema and then attended and graduated from
the Westboro High School, Class of 1937. She was married to Gust Hill on August
2, 1941, in Chicago, Ill. He preceded her in death. She was employed at various
occupations in her life and for many years was a caregiver to family and
friends. In her free time she enjoyed travel, sewing and crocheting.
She is survived by 2 nephews: Fred Swanson, Ogema, Jim Swanson, St. Paul, Minn.,
and by 1 great nephew Skip Swanson, Westboro, by 1 great niece Renee (Richard)
Bostian, Schertz, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by 3 sisters: Anna Gladys, and Edna,
and by 5 brothers: 1 infant brother Albert, and by Ernest, Roy, Edward, and
Theodore Swanson.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017,
at the Heindl Funeral Home, Prentice. The interment will be in the Hillside
Cemetery, Ogema.
Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at the funeral
home until the time of the service.
