McBain, Frances “Mozelle” (Hill) (30 MAY 1949 - 4 DEC 2017)

Frances “Mozelle” (Hill) McBain, 68, Cadott, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, with her family by her side, after a courageous fight with cancer.

Frances was born May 30, 1949, to Frances and Gladys (Jones) Hill in Western Grove, Ariz.
She married Darrel McBain July 11, 1970, at Western Grove Bible Church, and they moved to Chippewa Falls. They then moved to Cadott seven years later.

Mozelle was employed with the Cadott School District as a cook, then she worked at the Northern Center as a caregiver for 12 years, and also worked at the Stanley Prison in food service.

She enjoyed many things in life, such as Awana, bowling league, 4-H, homemakers, gardening, traveling, her beloved family, reading, learning new things, going to grandkids sporting events and gathering with friends, and she loved to joke around.

She is survived by her loving husband – Darrel; daughters – Cindy Verdegan (Justin Goebel) and Julie Cabell; grandchildren – Dusty Verdegan, Bryce Verdegan, Karly Verdegan, Rayna Verdegan and Neil Goebel, Elijah Cabell and Alliah Cabell; brother – JD (Connie) Hill; nephews – Mike (Misty) Tabor and John David Hill; and several great-nieces and nephews.

A prayer service was held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 8, at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, with Pastor Jim Woldhuis officiating. Visitation was from 4:30 p.m., until the time of service, Friday, at the funeral home.

Interment will be at the Sandhill Cemetery in Yardell, Ariz.

We are so thankful for all of her family and friends who have helped us through this difficult time.
