Zastrow, Janet (Randrup) (17 OCT 1935 - 23 DEC 2017)

Janet Zastrow, 82, of Wausau passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Our House Senior Living.

She was born October 17, 1935 in Nekoosa to the late Holger and Emma (Fitz) Randrup. After graduating from Wausau High School, Janet worked at 3M.

On April 1, 1959, she married Grover Zastrow in Red Wing, MN. They made their home in Rothschild, with Janet working at JARP and later for PTI until her retirement. Janet was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and had volunteered with the Altar Guild.

In her younger years, she was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed bowling and roller skating.

Survivors include her sons, Jeff of Milwaukee, Steve (Amy Tamsen) Zastrow of Rothschild, her granddaughter, Sadie of Wausau, one brother, Melvin (Carol) Randrup of Texas and half-brother, Roger (Betty) Randrup of Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover and son, Mark.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce St., Wausau. Reverend Sid Bouldin will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
