Berndt, Diane (1939? – 5 NOV 1970)
Services were held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 1970, at St. Mary's
Catholic Church in Elm Grove, Wisconsin, for a former Greenwood (Clark Co.,
Wis.) resident, Mrs. Robert Berndt, 31, who died Thursday, November 5, 1970 at
her home in Elm Grove, following a brief illness.
Interment was made in Visitation Cemetery in Elm Grove.
The former Diane Suda was born in Greenwood and received her education in the
Town of Reseburg and the Marshfield Senior High. She came to Marshfield with her
parents in 1947.
She was married in Gurnee, Illinois, October 6, 1962, to Robert Berndt. The
couple lived in the Elm Grove area until the present time.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Daniel; and two daughters, Brenda and
Heidi, all at home; four brothers, Theodore and Lawrence, both of Greenwood, and
James and George, both of Gurnee, Illinois; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vandy Suda
of Gurnee, Illinois; and her grandmother, Mrs. Martin Yaniga of Greenwood.
Pallbearers for the services were her four brothers, James, George, Theodore,
and Lawrence Suda, and Ronald Pachesky and Ronald Ginkey.
