Navy Seaman John H. Mason, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Mason of 200 Maple Street,
Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), is serving aboard the fleet ballistic missile submarine
USS Benjamin Franklin.
The ship was reassigned from its original homeport of Pearl Harbor to New
London, Connecticut.
The Benjamin Franklin has successfully completed 19 Polaris patrols.
