Palmer, Ellen (6 May 1898 - 15 September 1974)
Funeral services were held September 18 from the Neillsville Masonic Temple for
Mrs. Fred (Ellen G.) Palmer, 76, of Rt. 3 Neillsville, who died September 15.
The services were conducted by the Rev. Gary Clark of the United Church of
Christ and by the Order of the Eastern Star. Interment was in the Neillsville
City Cemetery. The Georgas Funeral Home made the arrangements.
Pallbearers were: Alfred Kleckner, Thad Zajac, Albert Holt, W. H. Allen, Richard
Albrecht, and Gordon Meddaugh.
Mrs. Robert Peters sang “Whispering Hope,” and “How Great Thou Art.” The
accompanist was Mrs. Robert Harvey.
Among those who attended the services were the following from out of town: Mr.
and Mrs. Clifford Nielsen, Gurnee, Il.; Maj. Albert W. Hart, Redlands, Ca.; Mrs.
William S. Bauman, Hibbing, Mn.; Mrs. Jerry Garrity, and Mrs. Ruth Ingersoll,
Sullivan; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hansen, Oak Park, Il.; Mr. and Mrs. Albert S.
Hart, and Joe Hart, Alma Center; Mrs. Richard Erickson, and Mrs. Edward Jensen,
Hixton.
