Ammentorp, Shirley A. (Weaver) (27 MAY 1929 - 25 DEC 2017)

Shirley A. Ammentorp, 88, passed away on Monday, December 25 in West Covina, CA.

Shirley was born May 27, 1929 in Owen, WI to Gladys (Parmenter) and Russel “Buster” Weaver.

Shirley was raised in Owen and attended Owen High School and Eau Claire (WI) Technical School. Shirley moved to California with her husband Ray in 1964 and their three sons: Mike McMillan, Rick and Tim Ammentorp.

She worked as an office manager for various car dealerships in the San Gabriel Valley and spent countless hours watching her sons Rick and Tim and her grandsons play and/or coach various sports at West Covina HS, Arizona State, UCLA, UC Irvine, Rowland HS, Redondo HS, and Ayala HS. She enjoyed crafting, needlework, and knitting. She served in church at St. Martha's Episcopal and Holy Trinity Episcopal doing bookkeeping and women's ministry.

She is survived by her husband Ray; son Mike McMillan and his children Colleen and Matt; son Rick Ammentorp, his wife Debbie and their son Clay; and son Tim, his wife Sandy and their children Andy, David and Adam.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 30 at 11:00AM at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 100 N. Third Ave., Covina, CA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Altar Guild/General Fund at Holy Trinity.
