Rhoades, Sandra L. (Featured -1974)
Sandra L. Rhoades, a senior at Neillsville high School, was recently notified
that she is to be featured in the eighth annual edition of “Who’s Who Among
American High School Students, 1973-74,” the largest student award publication
in the nation.
Students from over many, public, private, and parochial high schools throughout
the country are recognized for their leadership in academics, athletics,
activities, or community service. Less than three percent of the junior and
senior class students nationwide are awarded this recognition.
Sandi is the daughter of Herbert and Glenna Rhoades of Neillsville. She is
active in the Spanish Club, the National Spanish Honor Society, and girls’
volleyball, was in the junior class play, and has also served as vice president
of the National Spanish Honor Society
In addition, to having her biography published in the book, Sandi will also
compete for one of ten scholarship awards of $500 to $1,000 funded by the
publishers and will be invited to participate in the firm’s annual survey of
high achievers.
Sandi plans to major in either archeology, or herpetology upon graduation in
June, but is undecided upon which college or university she will attend.
