Potaczek, Mary (16 MAY 1917 – 31 DEC 1970)
Mrs. Mary Josephine Potaczek, 53, of Ogema, Wisconsin, formerly of Thorp (Clark
Co., Wis.), passed away Thursday, December 31, 1970, at Memorial Hospital,
Medford, where she had been taken several hours before due to an apparent heart
attack.
Funeral service were held on Monday, January 6th, 11:00 a.m. from St. Theresa's
Catholic Church at Westboro. Father Conway officiated, with burial being made in
Mount Olive Cemetery. Westboro.
Mary Kovcic was born at Chicago on May 16, 1017. She was united in marriage to
Sylvester Potaczek on February 23, 1941 at Chicago. She lived in Chicago until
1943, when they moved to a farm in the Thorp area. In 1965 they then moved to
Ogema.
Surviving, besides her husband, are: one son, Walter, of Hilbert, Wisconsin; one
grandchild; one brother, George Andlovic of Broadhead; four sisters, (Elaine)
Mrs. Edward Finke of Rockford, Ill., (Pauline) Mrs. John Jansky of Lake Geneva,
(Irene) Mrs. William Wright of Oregon, Illinois, (Marjorie) Mrs. Fred Johnson of
Prospect Heights, Illinois.
