Knusta, Walter F. (18 AUG 1915 – 8 JAN 1971)
Walter F. Knusta, 55, a resident of Bensonville, Illinois, passed away January
8, 1871 at the Hospital in Elk Grove, Illinois.
Mr. Knusta, a former resident of Lublin (Taylor Co., Wis.), was born in
Westville, Illinois on August 18, 1915, the son of the late Frank and Stella
Knusta. He was married to Irene Pirus in Medford, September 9, 1939, and lived
in Medford until 1953, then to Chicago, and in 1964 he moved to Bensonville,
Illinois.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Polish National Catholic Church in
Lublin, January 11th. Reverend Roman Misiewicz officiated at the ten a.m.
service, with burial being made in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were: Jerry
and John Knusta, Jim Welch, Stanley Kaczmarczyk, Louis and Tony Luzinski.
Surviving are: His wife; three sons, Richard and Donald of Chicago, and Kenneth
of the U.S. Army at Fort Riley, Kansas; one daughter, (Margaret Ann) Mrs. Thomas
Kunhart of Huntsville, Alabama; four grandchildren, and one brother, Frank
Knusta, of Lublin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
