Bruce Olson, son of Reverend and Mrs. R.W. Olson, 202 Rusch Street, Thorp (Clark
Co., Wis.), is one of 35 students at La Crosse State University to be selected
for "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges." Olson is a
senior majoring in physical education in the College of Health, Recreation, and
Physical Education.
A seven-member faculty committee, headed by Dr. Harvey Idues, Director of
Placement and Career Advising, selected the 15 men and 20 women students for the
honor, on the basis of their on-campus and off-campus leadership experiences and
their service to the university and community. Originally 194 students were
nominated.
