Gurney, George (Retirement – 12 October 1974)
William George Gurney of Rt. 3 Neillsville, was honored Saturday, October 12, at
the Wild Cat Inn with a surprise party planned by his children. The gathering
was in observance of Mrs. Gurney’s recent retirement after a number of years
employment with Nelson Industries.
All nine of the Gurney children were present, together with their husbands and
wives. Three other couples, all from Milwaukee, were also present.
Approximately 50 persons attended a get-together held Sunday at the Gurney home.
