Snedic, Mary (8 January 1886 – 14 October 1974)

Mrs. Mary Snedic 88, Willard, died October 14, in Neillsville, at Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Snedic, the former Mary Krnicar, daugher of Mr. and Mrs. John Krnicar, was born January 8, 1886, in Yugoslavia. She came to the United States in 1907, and was married September 30, 1907, in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Joliet, Il. To John Snedic. He died September 18, 1941.

They came to Willard in 1914 where she had since resided.

Surviving, are four daughters: Mrs. Robert (Mary) Djubenski, and Mrs. Anna Horvat, both of Willard; Mrs. William (Josephine) Valenzuela of San Diego, Ca.; and Mrs. John (Angeline) Zeng of Superior; and two sons John of Greenwood and Paul of Willard; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Bostanyich of De Kalb, Il.; and Mrs. Frances Kostrun of Yugoslavia, and a brother John Krnicar, of Yugoslavia, also survive.

Funeral services were held Friday from Holy Family Catholic Church. The Rev. Michael Mertens officiated, and burial was made in the Holy Family Cemetery.
