Luedtke, Mary Ann (18 MAR 1940 - 25 JUN 2012)
Mary Ann Luedtke, 72, Wausau, died Monday, June 25, 2012 at Care Partners of
Weston, under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.
She was born March 18, 1940 in Wausau, daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Dahm)
Kesy.
Mary Ann was a cook at Chapter Two, Wausau. Among her favorite pastimes, she
enjoyed bowling, crocheting, gardening, ceramics and bird watching. Most of all,
she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her
family and friends, especially by her special granddaughter, Heidi, who cared
for her over the past several years.
Mary Ann was a member of Our Savior National Catholic Church, Mosinee.
Survivors include, three children, Chris (David) Zastrow, Wausau, Linda (Tim
Farrar) Luedtke, Rothschild and Matthew Hildebrandt, Eagan, Minn.; five
grandchildren, Heidi (Jamie Bessert) Frank, Aniwa, Danielle (Brad Antone) Feck,
Antigo, Carrie (Shawn) Frailing, Rothschild, Brett Zastrow, Wausau and Brandon
Detert, Phoenix, Ariz.; four great grandchildren, Mikayla, Aleasha, Reggie and
Bradley; and one brother, Tom (Janet) Kesy, Wausau.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Donald
Luedtke in August of 1967; her special friend, Dennis Vesely; one son, Jeffrey
Luedtke; and one brother, Jack Kesy.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Burial will be in the
Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter. Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00
until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services,
all at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the staff at Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital, the
staff at Ministry Home Care Hospice, the staff at Care Partners of Weston and
the staff at DaVita Wausau Dialysis, for all the wonderful care and support
given to Mary Ann.
