Hastreiter, Bernard J. (24 JUL 1917 – 14 JAN 1971)

Bernard J. Hastreiter, 53, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, died on Thursday, January 14, 1971 at his home after an apparent heart attack.

Bernard was born Jul 24, 1917 in Shakopee, Minnesota. He was employed with Sentry Insurance Company of Stevens Point.

Survivors include: his wife, Teresa; two daughters, Mrs. Dave (Mary Beth) Perret of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Barbara of Atlanta, Georgia; three brothers, Kenneth of Waukesha, Robert of Wittenberg, and Joseph of Green Bay; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Meske of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mrs. Phyllis Velcheck of Hazelwood, Missouri.

Funeral service were held on Monday, January 18th, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gordon Hastreiter of Woodruff.
