Miller, Carl W. (4 FEB 1888 – 18 JAN 1971)

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. last Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Withee for Carl William Miller, 82, of route 1, Withee, who died the previous Monday at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

The Reverend Arthur Hellert, pastor, officiated, and burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Withee.

Mr. Miller was born February 4, 1888 in Eidsvold (Clark Co.), Wisconsin, and was married February 4, 1919, in Withee to Ella Vetterkind. The couple lived in the Town of Reseburg (Clark Co.), where they operated a farm.

Survivors include: his wife; four sons, Edward Miller, Loyal, Elmer Miller, Greenwood, and Ervin and Andrew Miller, Withee; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Geraldine Baehr, Altoona; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
