Russell J. Boie, former manager at Sturgeon Bay, has been promoted to manager of the Thorp Finance Corporation office in Waukesha, one of the firm's largest. Selected to succeed Boie at Sturgeon Bay was Alan L. List, the former assistant manager at Clintonville.

Boie also served in Thorp offices in Milwaukee, Cudahy and Hales Corners, and prior to joining the firm,
Attended Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire. He also served in the U.S. Army.

A native of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), Russ is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey J. Boie. He is married to the former Paulette Champagne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Champagne of 825 Clark Street, South, Milwaukee.
