Frenette, John (1896? – 4 FEB 1971)
John Frenette, 74, of Chippewa Falls, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He was born in Chippewa Falls and married Emma Doncevic in Waukegan, Illinois.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War I, and had been a painter in Detroit
for 20 years before moving to Chippewa Falls in 1937. He operated the Four Aces
Bar until retiring in 1963.
He was a member of Notre Dame Church and World War I Barrach 2905.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Niles Frederick route 5,
Chippewa Falls; three brothers, Claude and August, both of Chippewa Falls, and
Bernard, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.); three sisters, Mrs. Henry Lea, route 6,
Chippewa Falls, Mrs. John Larkowski, Denver, Colorado, and Sister Lorraine
Felix, School Sisters of Notre Dame, Greenville; and one grandchild.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Notre Dame Church.
