Lobacz, Mary (2 AUG 1896 – 9 FEB 1971)
Mrs. Mary Lobacz, 74, passed away at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley, on
Tuesday, February 9, 1971.
Mary Rogus, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Rogus, was born in Poland on
August 2, 1896. She came to America in 1912 and married Victor Lobacz at St.
Hedwig's Church, Thorp on May 11, 1915. Since then she has lived around the
Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) area. Her husband preceded her in death in November
1963.
Surviving are: six sons, John, Withee, Michael, Thorp, Joseph, Chicago,
Illinois, Stanley, Greenwood, George, Thorp, and Edmund, Fort Wayne, Indiana;
three daughters, (Ann) Mrs. Joseph Jaskot, Chicago, (Helen) Mrs. Fred Krzyzawski,
Elmwood Park, Illinois, (Regina) Mrs. Chester Rogalski of Thorp; also 35
grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; two sisters, (Kate) Mrs. Stanley
Antosik, Burlingame, California, and (Victoria) Mrs. Frank Dranginis of Thorp;
one brother, John Rogus of Gordon, Wisconsin.
Pallbearers were: Grandsons, Jerome Jaskot, James Krzyzawski, Richard, Robert
and Roy Lobacz, and Tom Misfeldt. Grandchildren, Roger and Billy Lobacz served
Mass, and Ronald Rogalski and Denise Lobacz carried offertory.
Out of town relatives and friends that attended were from Chicago, Park Ridge,
Elmwood Park and Zion, Illinois; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Milwaukee, Gordon, River
Falls, Greenwood, Owen, Withee, Lublin and Stanley, Wisconsin.
