Siggelkow, Hazel (17 DEC 1908 – 10 FEB 1971)
Mrs. Hazel Siggelkow, 62, of route 2, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), died at her home
at 5 a.m. Wednesday. Death was due to an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Missionary Alliance
Church in Owen. The former Hazel Thompson was born December 17, 1908 in
Kentucky, and went to the Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) area with her parents at an
early age, and received her education in the Town of Maplehurst School, and the
Owen High School.
She was married March 18, 1933 in the Town of Maplehurst, to Charles Wesley
Siggelkow, who survives her. The couple operated a farm in the Town of Hixon,
near Withee.
In addition to her husband, she is ssurvived by a daughter, Mr. Emil (Beatrice)
Presti, Milwaukee; four sons, Charles and Donald, both of Milwaukee, John of
Owen, and Robert, Athens; eight grandchildren; and three brothers, Herb and
Orville Thompson, Owen, and Arlie Thompson, Medford.
