Hamm, Hedwig (13 JAN 1887 – 15 NOV 1969)
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in
Curtiss for a former area resident, Mrs. Frank Hamm, 82, of Abbotsford, who died
Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
The Rev. Roger Tellock, pastor, officiated, and burial was made in Pine Hill
Cemetery, near Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.).
Pallbearers were Gary Hamm, Bill Hamm, Frank Hamm, George Krug, Bruce Jesnsen
and Frank Kirchen.
The former Hedwig Perlberg was born January 13, 1887 in Germany. She was married
at Hurley, Wisconsin on June 27, 1908 to Frank Hamm, who preceded her in death
August 28, 1954.
After their marriage, the couple operated a farm in Clark County until 1948,
when they moved to Dorchester. After the death of her husband, she lived with
her children.
Survivors include three sons, William Hamm, Medford, Frank Hamm, Curtiss, Edward
Hamm, St. Paul, Minn.; three daughters, Mrs. Hannah Rahm, Abbotsford, Mrs. Elmer
(Amelia) Neitzel, Curtiss, Mrs. Ernest (Adeline) Neitzel, Curtiss; 24
grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.
