Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Schliefe attended the funeral of Mr. Schliefe’s brother-in-law, Mr. Oliver Morgan of Park Falls, on Thursday of last week. Mr. Morgan, who owns a super market in Park Falls, passed away very suddenly.

Wilbur Hansen of Milwaukee visited his mother over the weekend, returning home Sunday morning.

Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Pabich and family spent Saturday and Sunday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bergstrom in Wausau.

Ronald Zielinsky arrived home last Thursday, the 18th, and is enjoyed a ten day leave at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Zielinsky. He is now completing his four eyars in the Coast Guard and will be out in January. At present he is stationed with the U.S. Coast Guard in St. Louis, Missouri.

Frank Zalabsky is now enjoying a furlough from the Navy.

On returning from Japan, where he spent 3 years at the office of N.S.A., Laverne R. Thiel arrived on the 10th of November to spend some time at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Thiel. He enplaned on the 20th for Washington, D.C.

Paul Fricke and deer hunting party, Bob Mattson, Floyd Klemetson, Arlie Harris and his son are enjoying deer hunting in the area of Yellow Lake in northern Wisconsin.

Tuesday afternoon Edward Wendt went to Marshfield and met his wife, Marion, as she was dismissed from St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she submitted to major surgery a week ago yesterday.
