Nerdrum, Nancy L. (8 NOV 1969)
Rev. H.W. Luetkehoelter, in a marriage ceremony performed at the Nazareth
Lutheran Church on Saturday, November 8, 1969, heard the nuptial promise made by
Miss Nancy L. Nerdrum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Nerdrum of Withee (Clark
Co., Wis.), and Michael C. Van Zutphen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clement Van Zutphen,
Eau Claire.
As the bride approached the altar with her father, she was seen in a floor
length gown of white satin, trimmed with lace on the arms and bodice. She wore a
bouffant veil. She carried a cascade of white roses and yellow mums, trimmed
with ivy.
The bride’s attendants were Miss Yvonne Karpinski, maid of honor, and Miss
Shirley Nerdrum, bridesmaid. They wore avocado green brocade dresses with
chiffon sleeves. Their dresses were the same style as the bride’s. They each
carried a bouquet of yellow mums and daisies, with ivy.
The groom asked Mr. James Savina of Thorp to be his best man, and Jack Olson of
Medford as groomsman. Henry Tytor Jr. of Eau Claire ushered the guests into the
church.
A reception was held at the Legion Hall in Owen. The newlyweds are making their
home in Thorp (Clark Co., Wisconsin, and the groom is the owner of the Mobil
Station in Stanley.
