Zirngibl, Maralene J. (Rudolph) (11 FEB 1927 - 25 JAN 2018)

Maralene J. Zirngibl, 90, Phillips, died on Friday, January 26, 2018, at the Aspirus Pleasant View Nursing Home, Phillips.

She was born on February 11, 1927, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Alvin and Christine (Belobraydich) Rudolph. She made her home in Medford with her family as a child. She attended and graduated from Medford High School, Class of 1945. She married Alvin Zirngibl on August 31, 1946, in Medford. They celebrated their 71st Anniversary in 2017.

She was a stay at home Mom for several years until they made their home in Abbotsford. She was then employed as a grocery checker in Abbotsford for many years prior to her retirement. At the time of their retirement they made their home in Phillips on Solberg Lake.

In her free time she enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting was an avid fisherman who enjoyed operating the boat, gardening, wine making, berry picking, and especially spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Alvin, Phillips, by 1 daughter: Karen (Bill) Job, Little Chute, WI, by 3 grandsons: Shawn (Karen), Erik (Nikki) and Daniel (Special Friend Kelly), by 7 great grandchildren: Tyler, Justin, Kaitlyn, Andrew, William, Hunter, and Madisen, by 1 sister: Marcie Reinke, Phillips, and by nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by 1 daughter Dawn, and by 1 brother: Alvin “Dick” Rudolph.

A memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, Phillips, with Fr. Gerald Hagen officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Medford. Friends may call after 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at the church until the time of the service.

The Heindl Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
