Coran, Maurisa Lynn (2 SEP 1959 - 19 JAN 2018)
Maurisa Lynn Coran, age 58, of Hortonville, passed away peacefully at her home
on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018.
Maurisa was born in Panama on Sept. 2, 1959 to the late John and Marian
(Gunderson) Coran. As the daughter of a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, she
traveled all over during her younger years. In 1999, she was united in marriage
to David Copija. She worked formerly as a dental hygienist. Maurisa was
extraordinary in heart and loved playing poker. She also enjoyed all aspects of
nature.
She is survived by her children, Chris (Jodi) Howard of Kaukauna, Preston
Beecher of Hortonville, Darius (Heather) Howard of Larsen and Tyler Howard, of
Hortonville; her six grandchildren, Dakota, Savanah, Drisana, Hailey, Kirsten
and Abel; her great-grandchild, Carson; her husband, David Copija; her cousin,
Jennifer Litvinoff of Menasha; her sister, Shauna Yanke of El Paso, Texas; her
uncles, Jerry Litvinoff of Kennan and Bobby (Lois) Gunderson of Hawkins; her
niece, Heather of Appleton; and her nephew, Ian of Albuquerque, N.M. She is
further survived by many great nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marian Coran; her daughter,
Kiersten; her sisters, Dawn, Darian and Alana; her brother, Johnny; her
grandparents, Robert and Margret Gunderson and Leonard and Maggie Coran and her
Aunt Sharon Litvinoff.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends of Maurisa will be held at 1 p.m.
on Saturday, Feb. 10 at the Jolly Inn in Hawkins.
