Twenty-seven young men graduating from the University of Wisconsin at Madison
Saturday, January 24, 1970 received their military commissions in their academic
degrees from the University. James Barager, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) was
congratulated by Col. J. Todd Meserow, Commandant of the Air Force ROTC at the
University after being commissioned Second Lieutenant in the Air Force Reserved.
Jim’s mother, Mrs. J.R. Barager pinned the 2nd Lt. bars on her son. Later in the
afternoon Jim was graduated with a class of 2,000 from the University of
Wisconsin with a major in Business Administration.
