Stuve, Manley G. (21 NOV 1896 – 2 MAR 1970)
Manley G. Stuve, 73, Humbird (Clark Co., Wis.), died Monday, March 2, 1970 at
the University Hospital in Madison. He was born in Idaho November 21, 1896 and
came to the Humbird area as a young man and farmed until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice; a son, Glenn, Humbird; a daughter, Mrs.
John Rajcic, Villa Park, California; three brothers, Howell and John, Owen;
Raymond, Humbird; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Martin, Humbird; Mrs. Elmira
Helwig, Danbury; Mrs. Helen Short, Wessington Springs, South Dakota; and six
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 5 at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist
Church, with the Rev. Ralph Walker officiating.
Burial was in the Mentor Cemetery, where military rites were conducted by the
Humbird Legion Post.
