Kiviko, Irene Mae (1 FEB 1915 – 15 MAR 1970)

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 18, 1970 at 2:00 pm. At the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home for Mrs. Irene Mae Kiviko, 55, who passed away Sunday, March 15, 1970 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Rev. D.E. Wenger of Greenwood officiated and burial was made at the Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery in Curtiss.

Pallbearers were Einar Jackson, William and Ed Kiviko, John Lokken, Orville Thorson and Calvin Mills.

Mrs. Kiviko was born February 1, 1915 in Curtiss) Clark Co., Wis.) and attended the Midway Grade School and the Owen High School. On April 21, 1936 she was married to Leonard Kiviko in Curtiss. They farmed from the time of marriage in the Town of Hoard and Town of Longwood until 1959. They moved to Owen in 1960 and she worked at the Clark County Hospital since 1959.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard, and two daughters, Betty fo Milwaukee and Mary Lynn of Delavan; one brother, Chester Knight, Abbotsford; four sisters, Mrs. John (Pearl) Lokken, Curtiss; Mrs. Hazel Peters of Highland Park, Ill.; Mrs. Orville (Beatrice) Thorson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Mrs. Levi (Selma) Ecke of Sheboygan, and two granddaughters, Kimberly and Lynda.
