Geary, Mr./Mrs. Clarence (Golden – 6 October 1974)
A Curtiss couple, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Geary, observed their 50th wedding
anniversary Sunday, October 6, at the Medo Farms restaurant in Abbotsford.
The Gearys farmed in the Town of Hoard for 27 years before buying the Curtiss
grocery store in May of 1951. Both have been active in community affairs. Mr.
Geary was village treasurer for many years and is presently a member of the
Clark County Board of Supervisors. He is also an avid fisherman. Mildred Geary’s
hobbies are crocheting and knitting. They enjoy camping and camp every summer
weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Geary are parents of three children: Dorothy, at home, Mrs.
Clifford (Betty) Nenzel of Stanley and Bill of Baraboo. There are eight
grandchildren.
