Kivikko, Ed (1 MAY 1912 – 3 APR 1970)
Ed Kivikko was born May 1 1912 in the town of Longwood (Clark Co., Wis.), where
he grew up and passed away April 3, 1970 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
In 1936 he married Elizabeth Phillips. They lived in De Kalb, Illinois, where he
was employed by Wurlitzer Company. In 1946 they moved to a farm near Curtiss
(Clark Co.).
He was a member of the United Church of Christ and the Masonic Lodge.
He leaves to mourn, his wife, Elizabeth Kivikko; one daughter, Mrs. Brian (Judy)
Schouten of Waupun; one granddaughter, Renee; four brothers, John of DeKalb,
Ill.; Leonard of Owen; Bill of Spencer; Reino of Egan, Ill., and one sisters,
Mrs. Einar (Lila) Jackson, Greenwood.
Funeral services were held at the United Church of Christ Monday, April 6th.
Rev. Hilding Peterson officiated, and burial was made in Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were nephews: Robert Bakke, Ross Fritz, Duane Jackson, Bob Kivikko,
Dennis Kivikko and John Kivikko.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
