Bandor, Karen Ann (28 FEB 1970)
Miss Karen Ann Bandor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Bandor, Davenport, Iowa,
and Jimmie Eugene Buss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Buss, route 1, Withee (Clark
Co., Wis.), were married during a double ring nuptial ceremony at 1:30 p.m.
Saturday, February 28, 1970, in St. John's Lutheran Church, Withee, the Rev.
Arthur Hellert officiating.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a floor length empire styled
bridal gown of angel mist taffeta, completed with a chapel train, and an open
pillbox hat to secure her bouffant veil of sheer illusion. She carried a bouquet
of roses, and orchid and baby's breath.
Miss Kerry Byrne was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Ellen Erickson and
Mrs. Jim Kobylarczyk.
They wore floor length formals of moss green velvet and ecru Venice lace, and
harmonizing veils secured to probile bands of satin and velvet for headpieces.
Each had a bouquet of pompons.
Fred Baehr was best man, and serving as groomsmen were Don Buss and Jim
Kobylarczyk. In the role of usher were Marvin Buss and Mike Zubal.
A reception was held at 4 p.m. in the Thorp American Legion Hall, where the
evening dance also took place.
