Baker, Virginia Mary (Poulin) (19 NOV 1917 - 8 MAY 1999)
Virginia Mary Baker, 81, Gilman, died Saturday, May 8, 1999. Funeral services
were held Wednesday, May 12, at Gilman Funeral Home in Gilman with Rev. Jerry
Meyer officiating.
Burial took place in St. Mary's Cemetery in Huron. Grandsons served as
pallbearers.
The former Virginia M. Poulin was born November 19, 1917, in Cloquet, Minn., to
Joseph and Clara (Osborne) Poulin. She moved with her family to Milwaukee and
grew up there. Her marriage to Clyde Baker took place in Milwaukee. She and her
husband lived in Milwaukee until moving to Gilman in 1991.
Survivors include three daughters, Delores (William) Baker of Gilman, Jeanie
(Jerry) Dohm of Eau Claire and Sandy (John) Gasparetti of Oak Creek; two sons,
Clyde Jr. (Marilyn) of Germantown and Robert (Lynne) Baker of Cascade; two
sisters, Clara Fischer of Wautoma and Mae June Jensen of Milwaukee; 12
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clyde in November 1998;
and seven brothers and sisters.
