The Rev. Amy Heinz was recently installed as pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church
of Unity and Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church of Holway, near Medford.
The Rev. John Sutherland, assistant to the bishop of the Northwest Synod of
Wisconsin, preached and performed the rite of installation at a celebratory
worship service on Sunday, August 6, 2017.
Pastor Heinz graduated in May from Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque with
a master of divinity. She also holds a bachelor of music in performance and a
master of arts in non-profit administration.
“My previous experience with non-profit organizations has proven to be an
enormous asset in a ministry rose like that of pastor,” Pastor Heinz said. “I am
very much enjoying the partnership with these congregations as we further
participate in God’s mission of love, justice and mercy for all people.”
Trinity Lutheran Church is an active, progressive congregation of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and occupies a beautiful small town
setting a few miles south of Abbotsford along Highway 13.
