Arnold Kenneth Halvorson, 81, Abbotsford, died at his home on Saturday, January 3, 2004, under hospice care.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 8 at 11 a.m. at the First United Church of Christ in Colby, with Rev. Kenneth A. Dix officiating.

Full military rites will be given by the Colby Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2227 at the church. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation begins at the church at 9:30 a.m.

Maurina Funeral Home of Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements.
