Franz, Albert Henry (1902? - 21 October 1974)

Albert Henry Franz, 72, lifelong resident of Greenwood, died October 21, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Mr. Franz, the son of William C. and Anna (Decker) Franz, was married July 5, 1927, to Doris Haase in the Salem church. They farmed nine miles northwest of Greenwood.

He attended the local schools and was a member of the Immanuel United Church.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Arthur of Medford; two grandchildren; three sisters: Mrs. Ernest (Bertha) Elmer and Mrs. Alfred (Clara) Gray, both of Greenwood; and Miss Sophie Franz of Owen; three brothers: Karl of Marshfield, Ferdinand of Greenwood and August of Perry, Ia.

Funeral services were held October 23 from Immanuel United Church. The Rev. Pacifico Camarin officiated. Burial was made in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
